Jam Looper

Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 August 2026

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Jam Looper (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Unstatic ltd.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information

Jam Looper has no account system. We never ask for your name, email address or date of birth in order to use it.

Your recordings. The Application records audio through your device's microphone, or through an external microphone or audio interface if you connect one. Recordings are stored on your device. We do not upload them, listen to them or have any access to them, with the single exception below.

Jams you choose to publish. If you publish a jam to the web, the Application uploads it to our servers and creates a page that is publicly accessible to anyone who has the link. That page contains the mixed audio, artwork generated from the jam, the title and author name you entered, a profile picture if you added one, and optionally a downloadable audio file or the multitrack session if you turn those on. Pages are not listed in a public directory, but a link can be forwarded by anyone you send it to and search engines can index a link they find. Do not publish anything you would not want a stranger to hear. You can delete a published page from within the Application at any time, which removes it from the web.

We may also use the information you provided us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information and required notices.

Automatically Collected Information

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device's unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, and information about the way you use the Application.

The Application also generates a random identifier and stores it in your device keychain. It is not linked to your name, your Apple ID or any account. It exists solely so the Application can tell which published pages belong to your device, and it is backed up to iCloud Keychain so your pages remain yours after you replace your device.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Yes. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement. The Application uses the following services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also request to opt-out via email, at contact@unstaticapps.com.

You can remove a published page at any time from within the Application, which deletes it from the web.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you'd like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at contact@unstaticapps.com and we will respond in a reasonable time. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
